A grand vase with handle sporting a geometrical abstract pattern applied by using wax on the areas where the beige glaze shouldn't cover the dark background.

The inside of the vase has the Carstens hallmark dark green glaze finish.

The 1510 model is not often found with this particular striking décor.

Artistic directors were Trude Carstens (active 1947-1965) and Rudolf Christmann (1966-1968). Carstens only made a limited number of each vase design.
