A cheerful faïence mantlepiece set made of white clay by AMC (August Mouzin et Cie). Clock has never been fitted. All three objects have the AMC (August Mouzin et Cie) mark (black ink stamp) and model nº 262 embossed.
The AMC factory started to produce mantle-clocks from around 1910. More than a hundred different models were produced. These type of mantel piece clocks were the low-end of their production as customers buying these items could not afford the more luxurious marble pieces in vogue at the time.
