A striking lively orange 1960's ashtray. Similar designs and vibrant objects were made during the Amphora and Perignem (Belgium), Vallauris (France) and Knabstrup (Denmark) hayday. Round ashtrays and buffet dishes were made with similar bright orange and yellow colours.

Some items are signed with 'F. Sanchez' on the bottom.

The orange is almost fluorescent, a nice contrast with the matte chocolate brown stoneware underside.
