Carstens vase model 1219
An unglazed vase with bright orange background with wispy black markings and a stylized flower stem with buds in black, yellow, light blu and green colours. Two flowers are crowned with a red dab of glaze. The inside of the vase has a dark green glaze finish. The original Carstens label is missing, but traces of it can still be seen. Artistic directors were Trude Carstens (active 1947-1965) and Rudolf Christmann (1966-1968). Carstens only made a limited number of each vase design.
