Jasba Keramik model 536

7,50 €

Jasba Keramik produced a wide variety of models and décors during a 45 year period (1926-1971), their Jaspatina being the most recognizable of the era (introduced in 1955).

The body of this small vase is covered in the typical hues popular in the 1950's: chocolate brown and beige mingled with mint green, orange and deep green highlights. The shape ('Henkelvase' vase with handles) was very much in vogue with the older generation of buyers and ceramic factories. Next to these lines Ceramic factories started to produce less 'bourgeois' and more 'modern' forms and décors by appointing young ceramic artist fresh out of art academies

The vase is from the 1950's, although these kind of vases are often wrongly labelled as Art Déco or from the interwar period.
