A late but albeit modern piece with orange and brown high gloss glaze from the Faïencerie de Wasmüel. The factory had its hayday during the pre-war period. It manufactured high quality pieces but stiff competition in the Borinage region and the declining popularity of ceramic mantelpice clocks forced MW to cease trading in 1960.
