An iconic Scheurich design with alternating strips of navy blue and grey and a playful flower motif. This model 401-28 can be found in wide variety adorned with very different colours and designs. Scheurich adapted the decoration of their vases twice every year. This slightly more subdued and modest decoration is a rearer find than the more omnipresent so-called 'fat lava' versions of the same model. The 401 model had been re-used in different forms.

The original paper label on the vase was in use from the mid 1960's unitl the early 1980's.
